HAIRCUT FADE: PERFORMANCE FEATURES
Fade – (gradual disappearance, transition) is a universal technique, applicable, in principle, to any short male (and not only!) Haircut. The hairstyle “military” it was called in the 40s in the USA, where it was invented by skilled hairdressers. A decade later, rock and roll became popular: the Beatles and Elvis introduced their long hair and pompadour into fashion, from which Fade was simply forgotten as an attachment to short haircuts. The return of Fade did not have to wait long: in the 80s hip-hop came into fashion, and in the 90s, Fade began to be used in various haircuts as a technique.
At the moment, many guys and men choose haircuts with the Fade technique. It is beautifully visual and practical in everyday life: at least for laying the temporal part, you will save a huge amount of time and money, since it will be in perfect condition after a haircut for about 2-3 weeks.
Fade types can be distinguished by the transition zones from short hair to long hair. There are 5 of them in total, but no one forbids mixing them with each other.
Not suitable if there are bumps on the scalp.
Smooth or abrupt transition – you decide. The main thing is that the transition from long to short hair begins at the back of the head. Barber starts shaving his hair with a clipper very low, almost at the very neck, and then, as he moves up, the length gradually increases, turning into the haircut of your choice.
MEDIUM OR CLASSIC FADE
Laconic looks, suitable for both office workers and athletes
The hair on the sides and back is removed very shortly, the transition begins above the ears – “in the middle” – hence the name. It is also called classic because of the past: it was basically how the military was cut.
It is important how the scalp looks and whether its color matches the tone of the face.
This suggests a contrast between short hair at the sides and long hair at the crown. An abrupt transition begins and ends immediately above the temporal corners. Anything below is cut short or shaved “to zero”. The transition line runs about 5 centimeters from the crown.
